Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SakuraCat VPN (referred to as “this Service” or “we”) handles personal information in the mobile application (the “App”). We provide the service with a focus on data minimization, transparency, and reasonable security safeguards.
When you download, launch, or use the App, the system may collect operational data necessary to provide the service, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes, we may process approximate location information. These data are used for: 1. Node recommendation based on SakuraCat VPN server distribution; 2. Performance optimization through anonymized aggregate diagnostics; 3. Service communication such as security notices, important updates, or service changes sent to your reserved email or username.
We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, statistics, and feature improvement. Except where required by legal process, regulatory obligations, user safety needs, or confidential entrusted service providers, we do not share your personal information with third parties. To stop new data collection, remove the App through your device’s standard uninstall process.
User-provided data is retained during the service period and a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account or delete personal profile data, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13; if such information is mistakenly collected, we will delete it promptly. Guardians may contact us through the same email. We use physical, electronic, and access-control measures to protect data security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to legal requirements or service changes. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after changes are published will be treated as acceptance of the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025. If you have questions or suggestions about our privacy practices, contact the SakuraCat VPN team by email ([email protected]).
